Relocating to Ft Benning? On the other side of the Chattahoochee River (runs between the  AL/GA) is Phenix City.  The Alabama side extends from Seale, Ft Mitchell, Phenix City, Smiths Station, Salem, Valley (Lake Harding), Opelika & Auburn.  One of the entrances to Ft Benning is located in Ft Mitchell.  Also, a National Cemetary is there.
